Snow clearing cleanup

The large snowfalls in the last 2 weeks have made huge snowbanks at the beginning of all town roads from Halfway Point to Frenchman's Cove. The loader operator will be using the snow basket to move these piles beginning tonight, Monday, Feb. 13, 2023. Hopefully, within the next 3 days all intersections will have better visibility . Please be extremely cautious entering onto a road from an intersection or your driveway. Section 3a of the towns snow clearing regulations state "No person shall throw or deposit in any way snow onto any street reservation or highway within the municipality". This is also covered by the Highway Traffic Act. Also, advise children not to dig out snow forts in the large snowbanks, it can by very dangerous. Your safety is of upmost importance.
